Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to support regional community health and primary care services across Aberlour. This role offers fully flexible, sessional work in community clinics, suitable for ACPs with autonomous assessment skills and urgent care support experience.

You will work within established clinical teams, providing advanced decision-making and routine assessments, including urgent care support and safe prescribing within your scope.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7)
• Independent Prescribing (V300) desirable
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community health services

Responsibilities

• Deliver ACP-led sessions in community and primary care
• Manage acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations
• Support urgent patient demand via triage (phone or face-to-face)
• Prescribe safely within scope of competence
• Manage clinical actions including results, medication reviews and follow-up
• Record accurate digital documentation

You will work as part of established clinical teams, providing advanced decision-making, routine assessments and urgent care support across a range of structured service environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering ACP-led sessions within community and primary care settings
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations
• Supporting urgent patient demand through telephone or face-to-face triage
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence
• Managing clinical actions including results, medication reviews and follow-up tasks
• Recording accurate and clear digital documentation

Requirements

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7)
• Clinical background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar
• Independent Prescribing (V300) desirable
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community health services
• Ability to work independently in varied clinical environments
• Enhanced DBS
