Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to provide flexible sessional work across primary care and regional care centre services in Dollar, Scotland. The ACP will manage autonomous assessments and support streamlined patient flow within local health services.

Working within structured clinical environments, you will deliver independent ACP-led clinics, triage on demand, prescribe where qualified and ensure accurate documentation in digital systems.

Qualifications

• Level 7 ACP qualification held.
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar.
• Independent Prescribing desirable.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or community health.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Running independent ACP-led clinics across care centre and GP service settings.
• Assessing acute, undifferentiated and routine presentations.
• Providing telephone and on-site triage during periods of high demand.
• Prescribing and initiating treatment where qualified.
