Job summary

OneMedical Group is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to provide expert, autonomous urgent care. You will assess, diagnose, treat and discharge patients across all ages, ensuring timely and safe care within your scope of practice.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient flow and contribute to clinical governance and continuous improvement. The role requires confidence in autonomous decision making and a patient-centred approach across busy settings.

Job description

As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will provide expert, autonomous care to patients presenting to urgent care, ensuring they receive timely, safe and effective assessment and treatment. You will assess, diagnose, treat and discharge patients presenting with acute, undifferentiated and chronic health conditions, working across all age groups, including infants. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician who combines advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning with a calm, patient-centred approach. Working within your professional scope of practice, you will make safe clinical decisions, prescribe appropriately and ensure patients are directed to the most suitable pathway. You will work closely with colleagues across the multidisciplinary team, contribute to patient flow and support a strong culture of clinical governance, learning and continuous improvement. We are looking for an experienced and confident practitioner who can balance autonomous clinical decision making with collaborative multidisciplinary working in a busy urgent care environment. Most importantly, you will be someone who puts patients first, works well with others and is committed to delivering safe, responsive and compassionate urgent care.
