Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to work in a GP practice in Leeds. The post offers structured, well-supported clinical sessions for an autonomous clinician in a primary care setting with clear workflows and steady patient demand.

You will work alongside GPs, Nurses and staff to provide comprehensive assessments, make safe clinical decisions and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes, with a mix of urgent care, routine appointments and triage.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practitioner training.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300 or equivalent) desirable.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or emergency settings.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in clinic.
• Enhanced DBS and up-to-date clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Managing same-day and routine ACP appointments.
• Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of presentations.
• Supporting on-the-day demand through telephone triage.
• Prescribing independently where qualified.
• Actioning results, referrals and follow-up tasks.
• Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records.
