Job summary

Locum Ready seeks a qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join a GP practice in Brentwood. The role offers flexible, well-supported clinical sessions for an autonomous practitioner who thrives in a primary care setting with steady patient demand.

You will work with GPs, nurses and wide clinical staff to provide comprehensive assessments, safe clinical decisions and high-quality patient outcomes across urgent care, routine appointments and triage.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner training at Level 7.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300) desirable.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or emergency settings.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in clinic.
• Enhanced DBS and up-to-date clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Managing same-day and routine ACP appointments.
• Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of presentations.
• Supporting on-the-day demand through telephone triage.
• Prescribing independently where qualified.
