Job summary

Laurencekirk Healthcare Centre in Aberdeenshire is seeking an experienced Minor Illness Clinician or Advanced Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality primary care within a supportive team.

You will provide patient-centred care, assess and manage a varied caseload, prescribe where qualified, and work closely with GPs, ANPs, pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team. Permanent contract.

Qualifications

• ANP qualification, registration and independent prescribing qualification.
• Minor Illness Clinician applicants: recognised minor illness qualification and relevant clinical experience; independent prescribing desirable.
• All applicants: excellent communication, clinical decision-making and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care.
• Assess, diagnose, treat and refer patients appropriately within your scope of practice.
• Manage a varied caseload of acute and minor illness presentations.
