Job summary

Locum Ready is recruiting an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work in a GP practice. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, support safe clinical decisions and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes.

Flexible ad-hoc or regular sessions across morning and afternoon clinics, with long-term or short-term roles available. You will work with GPs and nurses, provide triage by phone, and prescribe independently where qualified.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner training at Level 7.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300 or equivalent) desirable.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or emergency settings.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in clinic.
• Enhanced DBS and up-to-date clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Managing same-day and routine ACP appointments.
• Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of presentations.
• Supporting on-the-day demand through telephone triage.
