Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust seeks an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to extend specialist practice across rheumatology, dermatology and inpatient services at Chapel Allerton Hospital. The role focuses on complex therapies, including DMARDs and biologics, with a key involvement in homecare medicines and high-cost treatments.

Qualifications

Advanced clinical pharmacist with expertise across rheumatology and dermatology.
Experience managing complex therapies including DMARDs and biologics.
Knowledge of homecare medicines, monitoring and supply chain for high-cost therapies.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced clinical pharmacy input to rheumatology and dermatology patients.
Develop specialist expertise in medicines for inflammatory/autoimmune diseases.
Lead homecare prescription validation, monitoring and issue resolution.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, timely supply of medicines.
Provide specialist advice and contribute to clinical decision-making.
