Job summary

Sheffield City Council is seeking two Children's Advanced Social Work Practitioners to join the South Fieldwork team in Sheffield. The role is full-time and based at Attercliffe, with a caseload of up to 22 children and duties including complex care proceedings and court work.

Applicants must hold a social work qualification, SWE registration, ASYE fitness to practice, and be able to work under DfE agency regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a social work qualification, SWE registration and ASYE fitness to practice certificate.
• At least three years of statutory frontline fieldwork post-qualification experience.
• Ability to undertake complex care proceedings, court work and Section 47 investigations.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active caseload of up to 22 children and provide court-ready assessments.
• Undertake complex care proceedings and core safeguarding duties within the South Fieldwork team.
