Job summary

Sheffield City Council is seeking two Children's Advanced Social Work Practitioners to join the South Fieldwork team in Sheffield. The role is full-time and based at Attercliffe, with a caseload of up to 22 children and duties including complex care proceedings and court work.

Applicants must hold a social work qualification, SWE registration, ASYE fitness to practice, and be able to work under DfE agency regulations.

Qualifications

Children's Advanced Social Work Practitioner

Our client Sheffield City Council is looking for a Children's Advanced Social Work Practitioner to join their South Fieldwork team.

We are looking for two children's advanced social work practitioners to work full time in our South Fieldwork area of service which is based at Attercliffe, Sheffield 9 but which covers the South of Sheffield service area. The agency workers will be required to have at least three years statutory front line fieldwork post qualification experience and be able to undertake complex care proceedings, court work and Section 47 investigations as well as an active caseload of up to 22 children.

The posts are for 3 months to cover for vacancies and working hours are 37 per week working 8.45AM-5.15PM Monday to Thursday and with a 4.45PM finish on a Friday. You must hold a social work qualification, ASYE fitness to practice certificate,SWE registration and comply with the DfE agency regulations.
