Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across Cardiology and Cardiac Sciences. You will autonomously assess, diagnose, and manage patients, request investigations, and prescribe medications within your scope.

You will coordinate admissions and discharges, hold the Bed Manager bleep, and ensure safe, efficient pathways in a leading cardiac centre. Flexible working and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experienced in advanced clinical assessment and management of cardiac patients.
• Ability to prescribe within scope of practice.
• Strong leadership and collaboration within the MDT.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients across Cardiology/Cardiac Sciences.
• Order and interpret diagnostic investigations; prescribe medications within scope.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges; bed management and patient flow.
• Work with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe pathways and timely discharge.
