Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London is recruiting an Advanced Practitioner to deliver patient-centered care across Cardiology and Cardiac Sciences. You will autonomously assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiac patients, within the scope of practice for an NMC-registered or HCPC-registered professional.

Working with consultants and the multidisciplinary team, you will support admissions, transfers and discharges, coordinate bed management, and drive evidence-based care

Qualifications

• Current professional registration with NMC (Nursing) or HCPC (Allied Health Professional).
• Advanced or Intermediate Life Support Provider.
• Postgraduate Level 6+ education in a relevant subject.
• Independent Non-Medical Prescribing Qualification.
• Master's degree in Advanced Practice or working towards.
• Degree relevant to professional registration.
• Relevant post-registration Cardiology/Cardiac Sciences/Acute Care qualification.
• Teaching and Assessing Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients across Cardiology/Cardiac Sciences.
• Request and interpret investigations and prescribe medications.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, repatriations and discharges to optimise bed use.
• Support patient pathways and discharge planning across services.
• Act as Bed Manager and work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient care.
