This opportunity places you at the heart of quality management within a digitally transformed laboratory environment. You will support the maintenance and enhancement of our ISO15189:2022 accreditation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and laboratory excellence.
As the Quality Lead, you will support the departmental Quality Manager, lead internal quality systems, and promote best practices, regulatory compliance, and innovation.

Your responsibilities include serving as a departmental leader for quality, maintaining ISO standards, leading audits, managing non-conformance investigations, and driving continuous improvement.
You will lead and motivate a team of Biomedical Scientists and support staff, ensuring professional development and operational excellence. Additionally, you will oversee SOPs, quality indicators, risk assessments, and contribute to service development projects, including research and clinical trials.

Applicants must be registered with the HCPC, have completed the IBMS Specialist Portfolio or equivalent, hold an MSc or higher qualification, and demonstrate extensive post-registration experience in Cellular Pathology. Supervisory experience is desirable. The role involves working a Monday to Saturday service, including bank holidays, with participation in this rotation.
