Advanced Biomedical Scientist - Haematology *£2,000 Incentive*

Join our team as an Advanced Biomedical Scientist - Haematology at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust.

This post offers a recruitment incentive of £2,000 pro rata (conditions apply).

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and reliable Biomedical Scientist to support the routine Haematology & Coagulation services at Ipswich Hospital. The ideal candidate will be HCPC registered with relevant NHS laboratory experience, confident in using ACL TOP and Sysmex XN analysers, and possess excellent numeracy, literacy, and attention to detail.

The role involves supervising the Haematology & Coagulation section, managing daily operations, troubleshooting analysers, ensuring quality control, managing stock, updating SOPs, and maintaining ISO:15189 compliance. Deputising for the Haematology Lead and liaising with referral providers are also key responsibilities.
