This role offers a pharmacy technician with IT and operational skills the opportunity to innovate and further develop technology and informatics to support our digital agenda and quality improvement initiatives.

You will lead the maintenance of the Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) system as the system administrator. Responsibilities include routine updates, software installation, and testing of system versions.
You will provide expert support in developing, implementing, and upgrading the Trust-wide EPMA system, leveraging your extensive experience as a pharmacy technician with EPMA expertise to manage daily operations.
The role includes maintaining other digital systems within pharmacy, participating in new system implementations, and supporting staff training across the Trust.
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) in King's Lynn offers a beautiful coastline and charming villages. The medieval port town features interesting architecture.
We provide a wide range of specialist and general acute services to around 331,000 people across West and North Norfolk, with over 4,000 staff and volunteers, and approximately 500 beds on a single site. Some services are provided in community facilities, and we collaborate with neighboring hospitals for tertiary care.
In February 2022, the Care Quality Commission rated us 'Good' in all inspected services, and we are progressing out of the recovery support system.
