JOB TITLE: Advanced Analytics Manager
SALARY: The salary banding for this role is £65,385 - £72,650
LOCATION: You’ll be based within one of our Data Centres of Excellence in Insurance, Pensions & Investments (IP&I), which are in Bristol, Edinburgh and Leeds
HOURS: 35 hours, full time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

What you’ll need
A Proficiency in data modelling tools and techniques (e.g., ER modelling for operational systems, dimensional modelling for analytics/data warehousing, understand Kimball versus Inmon).
Knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) such as SQL, NoSQL, and understanding of their strengths and weaknesses.
Understanding of data integration and data governance principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify data modelling requirements and constraints.
Capability to analyse complex datasets and derive insights to inform the data modelling process
And any experience of these would be really useful
Deep understanding of the business domain they are working in. This helps in creating effective data models that accurately represent business processes and requirements.
Awareness of industry-specific standards and best practices related to data modelling and database design.
Strong problem-solving skills to address issues related to data quality, data integration, and performance optimization in data models.
Ability to articulate technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner, makes use of analogies for non-technical audiences.
