Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience delivering statutory social work with adults with learning disabilities.
• Ability to work under the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act.
• Comfortable working in a busy duty team and handling safeguarding referrals.

Responsibilities

• Screen referrals and manage urgent work including safeguarding referrals.
• Signpost to other teams and commission services when needed.
• Complete assessments and reviews, plan safe discharges and manage risk.
• Support rights and outcomes for adults with learning disabilities in the community.
• Visit clients in their homes or other community locations; travel around Leeds.
