Job summary

Adult Social Care in Manchester is seeking a Social Worker to join the Adults Safeguarding Team. The role requires a recognised Social Work qualification and at least two years post-qualification experience, with a focus on safeguarding and risk assessment.

You will work closely with other professionals, making decisions under the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005, in a hybrid working environment. There is a clear pathway for supervision and development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW).
• Minimum 2 years post-qualified experience.
• Previous experience in a busy frontline adult social work team.
• Full UK Driver's License is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk, investigate safeguarding concerns and coordinate support plans.
• Collaborate with other professionals and make decisions under Care Act 2014 and MCA 2005.
