Join Essex County Council's Adult Social Care services as an experienced Social Worker in the West Essex Neighbourhood team, covering Harlow and Epping. You will work with adults aged 18+ across all specialisms, undertaking assessments, reviews, mental capacity assessments, and safeguarding under the Care Act 2014.
The role involves conducting Care Act assessments, reviews, and safeguarding. Candidates should be local to the area, knowledgeable about the Mental Capacity Act and Care Act, with established experience in Adult Social Care.
This position offers hybrid working, primarily based at Goodman House in Harlow, with approximately 2 days in the office per week depending on business needs.
You should be a qualified social worker, registered with Social Work England, with experience in Adult Social Care. You will have a strong practice background, knowledge of current legislation, and experience in chairing meetings with clients, families, and multi-agency professionals.
You will also need:
A driving license and access to a vehicle are essential, as travel around Essex and beyond is required.
