Job summary

Tripod Partners is seeking a qualified Social Worker for our Learning Disabilities Team in North Dorset. This is a locum/agency role, full-time, 37 hours per week, with a rate of £32–£35 per hour.

You will manage complex caseloads, complete Care Act assessments and Care & Support Plans, support Mental Health Tribunals, progress Court of Protection applications, and work with MDTs across North Dorset. A valid Social Work England registration, experience in Adult Social Care, a driving licence,

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker.
• Current Social Work England registration.
• Experience in Adult Social Care.
• Experience managing complex caseloads.
• Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014.
• Experience of MDT and multi-agency working.
• Excellent assessment, communication and report-writing skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Learning Disabilities Social Worker with experience working in Adult Social Care, managing complex caseloads and undertaking statutory duties. You’ll work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, supporting adults with learning disabilities to achieve positive outcomes and live as independently as possible.
