The starting salary for this role is £52,942 per annum based on a 36-hour working week.

We are seeking a specialist in Social Work who demonstrates a high level of understanding and commitment to strength-based practice and the personalisation agenda. You should also have applied knowledge of the Care Act, the Mental Capacity Act, and the NHS Continuing Healthcare National Framework. Excellent safeguarding knowledge and skills are essential.

We empower individuals with learning disabilities and autism to lead independent lives, working closely with health and social care partners, families, and communities to deliver person-centred support and drive best practice and positive change.
You will assist the manager in delivering high-quality, personalised adult social care with a strength-based approach. You will line manage and supervise qualified social workers and unqualified staff, managing safeguarding concerns effectively. You must demonstrate applied knowledge of safeguarding procedures and social work practice, theory, and legislation to enhance practice and promote innovation.
You should be an excellent communicator, capable of managing the daily operations of a large, dynamic team, prioritising effectively, and making sound practice decisions. Building effective partnerships with individuals, carers, families, and health staff is essential.
