Job summary

Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting two full-time Speech and Language Therapists for Scunthorpe General Hospital and Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby. You will join a supportive SLT team, providing services across acute and community settings, with access to dysphagia expertise and cross-site cover.

Qualifications

• Autonomous practitioner with the ability to work independently in clinical settings.
• Desirable dysphagia training or supervision pathways provided by the team.
• Ability to work across acute and community-based caseloads as part of a SLT service.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard Speech and Language Therapy to inpatients and outpatients.
• Manage a defined caseload with evidence-based assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Discharge planning and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Support swallowing and communication disorders in adults, including post-acute dysphagia management.
