Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

Tameside requires a qualified social worker who has experience working with people who have addiction problems or hoarding issues. The candidate should be able to facilitate multi-agency meetings, write reports for court, and be proficient with IT systems.

The candidate must have knowledge and experience in Adult Social Care, including:

• Care Act assessments
• Safeguarding
• Section 21a (S21a)
• Capacity Assessments
• Best Interests Decisions
• TRAM/Risk assessments for vulnerable adults

Essential criteria:

• Degree in Social Work
• SWE Registration
• Right to work within the UK

Additional requirements include:

• Enhanced DBS/Update Service
• References covering the last 5 years of employment
