This is an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Social Worker to develop professionally and contribute to the Prestwich Integrated Health and Social Care Team. You should be a confident communicator, quick learner, with sound professional knowledge, especially regarding current legislation including Safeguarding Adults. You will work as part of an integrated neighbourhood team, co-located with health colleagues, and closely with partner organizations.
The role involves managing conflicting priorities, making evidence-based decisions, and working with individuals in diverse situations to enable them to take control of their lives. Building rapport and trust to support and engage clients, using asset and strengths-based approaches, is essential. You should understand the duty system and case work, providing advice and support to colleagues. Professional development will be supported through supervision and on-the-job learning.
Applicants should hold the ASYE award or have 1 year post-qualifying experience. Salary grades are Level 2: £36,648 - £38,223 pro-rata, Level 3: £39,186 - £41,418 pro-rata. Hours are 37 per week, with some positions at 29.6 hours, possibly requiring rota work.
