Position: Agency Social Worker (Long Term Temporary)

Note: This is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

About the Role

The Adult Social Care Review Team in Wirral covers a wide range of reviews and reassessments, working with individuals recently discharged from hospital and those living in the community. The team supports various adult social care projects, including at-risk care home and domiciliary providers. Collaboration with Wirral contracts, commissioning, and quality improvement teams is essential, with a focus on outcomes and legal literacy. This role offers opportunities for practitioners to strengthen their practice and apply transferable skills in a CPD-focused environment. The ideal candidate will support service delivery through assessment and intervention, with experience working with older adults.

Essential Criteria

1. Degree in Social Work
2. SWE Registration
3. Right to work within the UK

• Professional qualification in social work
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS/Update service
• References for the last 5 years of employment
