Job Opportunity: Agency Social Worker

Please note: This is a Long Term Temporary position starting ASAP.

About the Role

The Adult Social Care Review Team covers a wide range of reviews and reassessments across Wirral. The team works with individuals recently discharged from hospital and those living in the community. They support various adult social care projects and collaborate with at-risk care home and domiciliary providers. The team also works with Wirral contracts, commissioning, and quality improvement teams, focusing on outcomes and legal literacy. This role offers opportunities for practitioners to enhance their skills and apply transferable knowledge in a CPD-focused environment. Agency Social Workers will support service delivery through assessments and interventions, framed within legal literacy practices. Experience working with older adults is essential.

Essential Criteria

• Degree in Social Work
• SWE Registration
• Right to work within the UK

Requirements

• Professional qualification in social work
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS/Update service
• References covering the last 5 years of employment
