Requirements:

• Qualified Lawyer, with a valid practising certificate in the UK
• Specialism in Adult Social Care Law, with post-qualification experience
• Experience working for a public sector organisation or local authority

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Advising on all matters of adult social care law, including Court of Protection
• Advising on areas such as the Mental Capacity Act, deputyship
• Attending and preparing for advocacy (not mandatory but optional)
• Representing the Borough and external clients as appropriate
• Deputising for senior legal team members as needed
