Job summary

Staffordshire County Council is seeking two Project Managers for fixed-term roles focused on improving Adult Social Care. The ideal candidates will lead projects, manage risks, and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance service delivery. Job description

With this in mind, we’re passionate about improving quality and performance within adult social care, and this exciting new role will lead the management and delivery of improvement projects across Health and Care.

We have a vacancy for two posts, both fixed-term roles for 2 years.

Package Description
Main Responsibilities
  1. Work closely with operations managers, commissioners, and senior leaders to manage projects within our Health and Care delivery plan, ensuring timely delivery of high-standard products.
  2. Manage risks and measure the delivery of outcomes and benefits.
  3. Facilitate workshops with managers and frontline staff to design solutions and plan delivery.
  4. Communicate progress and escalate issues to the senior leadership team for resolution.
  5. Promote improvement in Adult Social Care by collaborating across Staffordshire County Council and Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
  6. Encourage co-production and equity, ensuring the voice of the person is recognized in the design of improvements.
The Ideal Candidate
  1. Be an inspirational team worker with experience in leading improvement projects.
  2. Possess valuable knowledge of Adult Social Care; experience in local government and health is advantageous.
  3. Have skills in co-designing solutions to implement and embed change.
  4. Exhibit excellent planning and project management skills.
  5. Be confident working across organizational boundaries, influencing and negotiating to meet deadlines.
  6. Be a superb communicator.
  7. Demonstrate high personal drive and integrity, proactively solving problems and developing innovative solutions to improve outcomes.
