Responsibilities

• Undertake Care Act 2014 safeguarding enquiries and assessments involving adults at risk.
• Identify and respond appropriately to concerns relating to abuse, neglect, exploitation, and self-neglect.
• Work in a person-centred and strengths-based manner, ensuring the adult’s views and desired outcomes are at the heart of decision-making.
• Complete comprehensive assessments and develop appropriate safeguarding and support plans.
• Assess and manage complex levels of risk while balancing individual autonomy and protection.
