Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking an experienced Adults Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Team in Sefton. This full-time post offers an attractive hourly rate and development opportunities within a supportive environment.

Based in Bootle, you will manage safeguarding cases, coordinate with partners, and contribute to positive outcomes for adults at risk. The contract runs initially for 30 weeks starting 1 September, with potential extension for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Undertake adult safeguarding work, managing complex cases with confidence, professionalism, and sound judgement.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and safeguarding enquiries to ensure the safety and wellbeing of adults at risk.
• Prepare detailed reports, assessments, and professional documentation to support effective case management.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies to coordinate safeguarding interventions and support plans.
• Maintain compliance with statutory responsibilities, safeguarding legislation, and professional standards.
• Participate in case reviews, strategy meetings, and safeguarding planning processes.
