Job summary

Illingworth Research Group is seeking a Per Diem Research Nurse (Adult) to support clinical trials in Truro, UK. The role involves on-site visits, data capture, safety reporting and patient care in collaboration with the RN team and study investigators.

You will bring nursing registration with at least two years post-qualification experience, GCP certification, and hands-on skills in venepuncture and ECG, plus strong organisational and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
• GCP certified with experience in clinical trials.
• Knowledge of research design and methodology desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fully conversant with trial protocol, CRFs/eCRF, SOPs and timelines to run the trial.
• Communicate effectively with RNPM, site staff and PI for smooth information flow.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data transfer per SOPs and data protection.
• Attend Site Initiation Visits and meetings as required.
• Coordinate subject visits on- and off-site with the RN team.
• Ensure procedures and assessments follow protocol and SOPs; data accuracy.
• Administer trial medication and manage storage and transfer per SOPs.
• Package and dispatch samples; liaise with courier companies as required.
• Assist in identifying eligible patients and support recruitment for trials.
• Report adverse events promptly to the site team and RNPM as needed.
