VCTC Ltd. is seeking mobile research nurses and/or research technicians to join their expanding team across the Midlands.

The role involves visiting pop-up research clinics, performing protocol-mandated procedures such as vital signs, ECGs, blood collection, and dispensing IMPs, while ensuring patient welfare and data quality. Applicants should have healthcare experience, the ability to work autonomously, and excellent communication.

Formación

• Experience in a healthcare setting with direct patient contact.

• Knowledge of ICH-GCP is advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct participant clinic visits and dispense Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs).
• Perform study procedures such as vital signs, ECGs and blood collection per protocol.
• Document adverse events and liaise with the Principal Investigator for actions.
• Ensure protocol and SOP compliance within the clinic.
• Accurately collect data in line with GCP standards.
• Prioritise patient health and welfare during visits.

Do you have a background in clinical trials research, perhaps as a Research Nurse, Research Technician, or are you a Nurse with a strong interest in research? Are you ready to play a vital role in shaping participant-focused clinical trials? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

We are a full-service UK clinical trial site, providing virtual and decentralised clinical trial services, looking to appoint mobile research nurses and/or research technicians to our growing team.

You will join the innovative team at VCTC, supporting clinical studies across multiple specialities. This position involves travelling to our pop-up research clinics, predominantly located around the Midlands, ensuring all protocol‑mandated activities are performed seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct participant clinic visits, including dispensing Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs).
• Perform study related procedures such as vital signs, ECGs, collection of blood samples, in accordance with ICH‑GCP.
• Document adverse events and liaise with the Principal Investigator to provide appropriate action.
• Ensure compliance with the protocol and standard operating procedures within the clinic.
• Ensure data is collected to a high quality in accordance with GCP standards.
• Ensure the patient’s health and welfare is a priority.

Qualifications and Experience

• A positive mindset and can do attitude to clinical delivery and first class patient experience.
• Experience in a healthcare setting (e.g., Research Technician, Nursing Assistant, Registered Nurse).
• Experience of working autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Highly effective communication skills.
• Good organisational skills.

• Able to work autonomously and manage own workload.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Clinical skills such as phlebotomy, taking ECGs.
