Job summary

South West London and St George's Mental Health Trust is seeking an experienced practitioner to provide triage assessments and low intensity CBT for adults referred to the Talking Therapies service in Wandsworth. The role requires delivering at least 24 booked hours and 20 completed clinical contacts per week, using evidence-based CBT principles.

You will conduct structured interviews and risk assessments, contribute to group CBT programmes, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Provide comprehensive triage assessments and low intensity therapeutic services for adult patients based on CBT principles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a minimum of 24 booked and 20 completed clinical contact hours per week.
• Formulate and implement treatment plans for mental health problems.
• Conduct structured and semi-structured assessments, questionnaires, and risk assessments.
• Contribute to development of group CBT programmes for anxiety and/or depression.
• Maintain coherent records and data collection in line with service protocols.
• Work with the team to ensure stepped care and integration of work/employment issues in therapy.
