Job summary

Vetro Recruitment in Swansea is seeking an Adult Learning Disability Support Worker to help residents with learning disabilities lead more independent lives. The role involves delivering compassionate care, monitoring conditions, and supporting care pathways within a multidisciplinary team.

The position offers flexible shifts (day, night, sleep) and both temporary and permanent opportunities with training and development supported by the employer.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a social care environment.
  • Be empathetic, caring, resilient and committed to safeguarding.
  • Hold a valid Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • Right to work in the UK and a Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to fund practical training if not already completed.

  • Observe and monitor residents' conditions and record accurately.
