Job summary

Leaders in Care is seeking a Social Worker for a locum position in the UK. You will join a supportive multidisciplinary team across Adult Social Care, health, housing and community services to improve outcomes for adults with complex needs.

The role offers flexible/hybrid working, a competitive hourly rate (up to £40 per hour) and a 36-hour week, with weekly check-ins and ongoing support during placement.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised Social Work qualification.
• Must have Social Work England registration.
• Experience within Adult Social Care.
• Knowledge of Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete strengths-based assessments for adults with complex needs.
• Develop person-centred support plans promoting independence and positive outcomes.
• Manage safeguarding concerns, risk assessments and complex casework.
• Apply the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding legislation in day-to-day practice.
• Work with adults experiencing mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism and other complex circumstances.
• Collaborate with health, housing, voluntary-sector and community partners.
