SUPPORTING POSITIVE PATHS CIC is seeking a full-time Support Practitioner in Edinburgh. This role involves providing group support to young adults, facilitating engaging activities, and creating a friendly environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in social care, effective communication skills, and a passion for supporting individuals with Additional Needs.

We are looking for a fulltime member of staff to join our team as a Support Practitioner with Positive Paths CIC. You will be part of a fun team, with lots of opportunities to learn and try out new things with our members (e.g. archery, zumba, bowling and exploring the local community and working within our hubs supporting and planning a range of activities to meet the needs of our members.
Your daily role will involve supporting our members aged 18 yrs and over, including pushing wheel chair users and planning with our members creating a safe and relaxed environment for them to learn and practise new skills, build on existing ones and have fun with their friends. Support is mainly group based but you might be required to support 1:1 with some of our members, you will be working as part of a staff team, supporting our members to integrate within the group and join in with their peers in a group based learning experience. We work within Edinburgh and East Lothian along with day trips further afield.
Our Group based program runs Monday - Friday 9:30-3:30
Applicants will be encouraged to help develop our services with our members and bring their own interests/skills into the role.
Please note we are only looking for full time staff members, who can commit to Monday - Friday 9:30-3:30 for at 12 months.
There will be opportunities within the company for further training and personal development within the role.
