Job summary

Resolve Recruitment Services are recruiting an ADR Clinical Waste Operative to join our client in Poole, driving either a van or HGV Class 2 depending on licence. The role includes safe collection, transport and disposal of hazardous clinical waste at designated locations.

The position typically runs Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with occasional weekend work paid at time and a half. ADR Class 6 is highly desirable and a full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• ADR qualification is required.
• Previous professional driving experience is expected.
• Good understanding of safe working practices is essential.
• Excellent attention to detail is essential.
• Good communication and customer-service skills are essential.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move waste containers.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Ability to follow waste-handling procedures and complete paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Driving & Vehicle Operation.
• Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and HGV Class 2 vehicles, to designated collection and disposal locations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks.
• Ensure the vehicle remains roadworthy, clean and sanitary.
• Follow designated routes and collection schedules efficiently.
• Comply with all relevant road traffic legislation.
• Drive in accordance with ADR and company safety procedures.
• Waste collection and handling.
