Job summary

Adoption is 4 U CIC in the UK is recruiting an experienced social worker to help design and deliver an intercountry adoption service for families adopting from India. You will apply trauma‑informed, culturally competent practice to support children, birth families and adoptive families throughout the journey.

This role requires Social Work England registration and a commitment to reflective practice, supervision and ongoing professional development as the service grows.

Intercountry Adoption Social Worker

Help shape a brand-new, innovative service for families adopting from India.

This is a rare opportunity to join us at a pivotal moment as we build and launch a new intercountry adoption service. We’re looking for a Social Worker who brings adoption experience, curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn the specialist practice required for intercountry adoption. You'll play an active role in shaping how this service grows, develops and delivers outstanding support to families.

You'll be someone who leads with compassion, cultural humility and a deep commitment to relationship-based practice. Children’s identity, heritage and lifelong connections will be at the heart of your work, and you'll champion trauma-informed, culturally competent support throughout every stage of the adoption journey.
