Job summary

Wiltshire Council's Emerald Team is seeking an Adolescent support worker to help vulnerable young people at risk of exploitation or going missing. You will build trust, assess needs, and provide tailored support across complex cases in a multi-disciplinary setting.

Successful candidates will have NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience, strong safeguarding knowledge, and excellent communication. Hybrid working is offered with on-site and community-based engagement.

Qualifications

• Must hold NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Proven experience engaging with children and young people.
• Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with young people and families to understand needs.
• Provide targeted support and strengthen resilience.
• Coordinate family action plans.
• Manage a complex caseload and work with young people.
