Job summary

London South Bank University is recruiting for the role of Admissions Officer on a maternity cover contract, starting October 2026 within our Marketing, Recruitment and Communications team. You will manage an admissions portfolio, assess applications and ensure consistent decisions, while working closely with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in a higher education institution, preferably including experience with clearing houses or university administration.
• Ability to understand, explain and apply complex procedures and regulations.
• Experience of solving problems, effectively and efficiently.
• Experience in a high-volume processing environment using complex databases.
• A commitment to professionalism, collaborative working and high levels of client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage own portfolio of programmes and assess applications consistently.
