Holy Cross College is seeking a full-time Admissions Assistant to support admissions processes and marketing efforts. The role involves working closely with the Communications and Admissions Manager, managing events, and ensuring effective communication with prospective students and parents. The successful candidate will contribute innovative ideas to enhance the admissions experience.
We are seeking to appoint a full-time Admissions Assistant, working 36.25 hours per week during term time, with a salary on Points 10 - 11 of the Support Staff Salary Spine, currently £26,666 - £27,532 FTE / £22,836 - £23,680 actual pro-rata per annum.
The team has a strong record of high-quality marketing and communications, leading to successful admissions. The Admissions Assistant will work alongside the full-time Communications and Admissions Manager, playing a key role in the smooth operation of all admissions processes and events. The team also collaborates with the Marketing Coordinator on marketing matters, with additional input from the College Administration Team.
Key events throughout the academic year facilitate student recruitment, emphasizing sensitive and clear communication with prospective and current students, parents/carers, and partner high schools. Activities include high school liaison talks, careers' events, and open days in October, supported by applications, interviews, offers, and enrolment processes from November to September.
The role also involves marketing college events through various channels, including the website, on-site screens, press, and social media. The admissions processes are supported by the College’s bespoke in-house Information Systems. The successful candidate will contribute to building upon current successes and introduce new ideas and approaches.
