Dumfries and Galloway Council is seeking an administrative role to join the Solutions Centre Team in Dumfries on an 18-month fixed-term contract, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role focuses on collating, recording and developing a system for the training requirements of FWN staff.
You will work in a dynamic environment requiring excellent communication, teamwork and IT skills, with access to a benefits package and wellbeing support.
This is an 18-month fixed term post, office based within Cargen Tower, Dumfries, 36 hours per week: Monday – Friday. This post is part of the Solutions Centre Team, who provides support to Facilities, Waste and Neighbourhood Services. This post will initially concentrate on collating, recording and developing a system for the training requirements of FWN staff.

You must be confident, highly motivated with the ability to work as part of a team and as an individual. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise professionally and sensitively with internal and external colleagues and partners.
You should be confident and have experience with computer applications..
A good knowledge of Microsoft packages is essential, with good knowledge of general office working procedures being desirable.
You will be educated to SVQ Level 3/HNC in a relevant subject or have relevant experience.
