Job summary

Ibstock Plc is recruiting a Factory Administrator for our Midlands factory in Chesterton. The role supports the Factory Manager and TPM team, handling payroll liaison, orders, despatch, stock control, health and safety records, and general clerical duties.

You will assist in organizing on-site meetings and maintain key production reports, while ensuring accurate input into the Agility system and related administration tasks.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Previous administration experience.
  • High degree of computer literacy and numeric skills; proficient with Microsoft applications.
  • Flexible and enthusiastic; able to work under pressure and prioritise.
  • Team spirit and self-discipline; capable of multi-tasking.
  • Experience of JD Edwards and other company software.

Responsibilities

To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Factory Administrator to come and join our team at our Midlands factory in Apedale Rd, Chesterton, Newcastle ST5 6BH

The Role:

The successful candidate will be supporting the Factory Manager and the TPM team as well as organising on site meetings and general clerical duties

Key responsibilities:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Previous administration experience.
  • High degree of computer literacy and numeric skills and a competent user of all Microsoft applications.
  • A flexible and enthusiastic individual able to work under pressure, prioritise workload and use own initiative.
  • Plenty of team spirit and an enthusiastic attitude to work
  • Self discipline and the ability to multi-task.
  • Experience of JD Edwards and other software used by the Company.
