Job summary

Bupa Clinic Ringwood is seeking a dedicated Administrator/Receptionist to manage reception, admin tasks and customer interactions, ensuring a warm, professional experience for all visitors. You will handle bookings, payments and support clinical teams to keep the centre running smoothly.

This role offers a stable permanent contract, full-time hours, and benefits under a leading health insurer and provider. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Previous reception, administration, or customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and other digital systems.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and remain calm in a busy environment.
  • Proactive, positive and reliable approach to work.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent).
  • Audio typing skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Experience within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and support customers throughout their visit, ensuring they receive an exceptional experience from arrival to departure.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Book, amend, and manage appointments using our clinical systems.
  • Process payments, invoices, and related administrative tasks accurately.
  • Prepare customer documentation and support the management of medical records and test results.
  • Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming reception environment.
  • Support clinicians and colleagues to ensure reports and customer information are processed within agreed timescales.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering supplies, and general office administration.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and support colleagues across the wider Bupa network when required.
