Job summary

Amey is recruiting a permanent Administrator for HMP/YOI Low Newton in Durham. The role supports facilities management across MoJ contracts, working 39 hours per week 08:00–16:30 (Fri finish 15:30). The base salary ranges from £27,426 to £28,304 and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

You will liaise with contractors, operate CAFM, maintain data records, and assist with onboarding and general admin duties on site. DBS/Prison clearance will be required.

• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

The base salary is £27,426 - £28,304.

The standard hours of work are 39 per week, between 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday (finish at 15:30 Friday).

What you will do:

• Liaise day-to-day with contractors and work staff
• Use Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system to close jobs
• Input to and maintain spread sheets/databases/systems and produce and collate reports
• Work with HMPS on site vetting team to aid in the onboarding of new starters
• General administration tasks, as directed by Site Manager and Team Leaders

What you will bring:

• Team player to work alongside colleagues and stakeholders
• Flexible attitude to work with ability to prioritise workload
• Good communication skills to develop and maintain multiple working relationships
• IT literate with experience of Microsoft packages and management systems or other similar data entry and reporting database applications
• Experience in a fast-paced office environment
