Sapphire Utility Solutions, a Lanes Group Company, is seeking an experienced Office Administrator for its Pride Park site in Derby. The role supports business reporting and distribution of reports to management and the board.

We offer a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break. Salary ranges from £26,500 to £28,000, reflecting the importance of accurate data handling and cross-department collaboration.

  • General day to day administration, producing a high level of support to the department.
  • Updating our in-house database system.
  • Develop and maintain an effective filing system.
  • Producing reports for managers
  • Monitor and react to a range of data generated within the business.
  • Manage phone calls, enquiries, and requests.
  • Liaison with all internal staff regarding related queries, dealing with queries where possible or passing through to the team as necessary.
  • Updating records will include working on various databases as well as Microsoft office including Excel at an intermediate level.
  • General scanning, filing, as and when required by the department.

Sapphire Utility Solutions, a Lanes Group Company specialise in multiple divisions.


Severn Trent Water

supplies clean, safe drinking water to millions of customers across the Midlands and surrounding areas. The company is committed to delivering reliable water services, reducing leakage, investing in infrastructure, and protecting the environment for future generations.


Through its Severn Trent Clean Water contract, the team play a vital role in maintaining the region's water distribution network. Responsibilities include repairing water mains and associated assets, delivering reinstatement and traffic management services, and supporting AMP8 objectives through leakage reduction, network renewal, and lead pipe replacement programmes.


Purpose of the role:

We are looking for an experienced Office Administrator to join our administration team here at Sapphire Utility Solutions based at our site on Pride Park. The role is vital to business reporting and will responsible for managing and distributing reports to business and board.



  • Location: Pride Park, Derby, DE24 8JH

  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
