New Otley Road Medical Practice - Hillside Bridge in Bradford is seeking two experienced GP Receptionist/Administrators to join a friendly team. The role is part-time (25 hours per week) with responsibilities spanning reception, appointment management, admin duties and patient liaison.

The successful candidates will support day-to-day operations while preserving patient confidentiality and accurate records.

  • Communicate with hospitals and pharmacies as needed.
  • Support day-end procedures and maintain accuracy.

Job description

We are recruiting for two experienced GP Receptionist/Administrator to compliment our existing team. The clinical system the practice uses is systmone. Part time position available 25 hours per week. Our opening hours 08:00-18:30 Monday to Friday.

Duties and responsibilities of the role
  • General Reception Duties
  • Management of Appointment Systems
  • Scanning & Photocopying
  • GP Pathology Links
  • Operation of the Telephone System
  • Start & End of Day Procedures
  • Repeat Prescriptions
  • Call & Recall of patients with Long Term Conditions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to deal with confidential information and follow set processes.
  • Good team player
  • High attention to detail
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking.
  • Other administrative duties considered appropriate to the post.

Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to meeting and greeting patients, answering telephone calls dealing with queries from patients any other service providers e.g. hospitals and pharmacies, and other administrative duties associated with patient care.
