NHS Scotland is seeking three Administrative Officers for Children Admin Services in Glasgow. Successful candidates will manage administration staff, support health services, and enhance team functions. This permanent, full-time role requires strong administrative and supervisory skills.

North East, North West & South of Glasgow (one post per locality)
An opportunity has arisen within Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP) Business Admin, Children Services, for three Administrative Officers to support and manage Health Visiting, School Health, and Parenting Team administration staff. The successful candidates will report to the GCC Resource Managers for Children Services in the three locality GCHSCP areas.
The Health Visiting and School Health Services are supported by approximately 35 administration staff, including Band 2, Band 3, and Band 4 staff, located within Health Centres across the partnership. These teams support families through home visiting services, developmental support, and parenting assistance.
The Parenting Team is supported by two administrative staff based in the North East locality, delivering culturally sensitive parenting support and advice across Glasgow City.
The Administrative Officer will supervise a team of clerical/administration staff, support operational delivery, review work, manage attendance and performance, and oversee training and development. They will also assist in reviewing and implementing new processes and systems to enhance team functions.
Candidates must have administrative and supervisory experience, with strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
This position is part of the Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership.
