Administrative Assistant (Refugee-Led Research Hub)

The Oxford Department of International Development (ODID) is seeking to recruit an Administrative Assistant who will be working within the Refugee-Led Research Hub (RLRH).

As RLRH continues to grow and strengthen its operations and organisational systems, we are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day administration and coordination of operational activities across the organisation. Working closely with colleagues across RLRH's global offices and programmes, the postholder will act as a key administrative focal point, supporting operational coordination, travel, human resources, contracts, and organisational systems. They will help ensure administrative processes are delivered efficiently, records are maintained accurately, and colleagues receive timely, high-quality support. Working closely with the Operations Manager, the Director of Operations and Strategy and the wider Operations and Strategy pillar, the postholder will contribute to maintaining and improving the systems and processes that underpin RLRH’s continued growth and effective functioning.

The position is offered full time Full-time 36.5 hours per week (Part-time working is considered, with a minimum of 29.12 hours per week) and Fixed-term until 31 August 2027 (with possibility of extension subject to further funding).

The successful candidate will have experience of providing high-quality administrative support within a busy and fast-paced environment, preferably within higher education, the charity sector, research, or another complex, multi-stakeholder setting. They will also strong IT skills and confidence in using digital tools to organise work, manage information, and improve efficiency.

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are essential for this role.
