This is an exciting opportunity to join the Building Services Team (BST) at the Jeffrey Cheah Biomedical Centre (JCBC). You will supervise a 2-person reception team and support the smooth delivery of building services to JCBC occupants. You will be the main contact for building users, resolving issues, and providing daily support.
This role is based on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed.
We seek a well-organised and enthusiastic individual to maintain effective office procedures, oversee repairs and maintenance, report safety issues, and handle internal and external communication for the BST.
Previous similar experience is essential. Candidates should have 'A' level education, excellent organisational, communication, and written English skills. A flexible, adaptable 'can-do' attitude, high accuracy, ability to meet deadlines, and initiative are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, good interpersonal skills, and website maintenance experience are also necessary.
Fixed-term: The funding for this position is available for 1 year initially.
